First day of (big) school

Tuesday the 4th of February 2010 was another landmark for young Lucas, being the first day of primary school. He proudly donned his new school uniform (photos attached), and toddled off to his first day at Sandringham East Primary without a fuss.

Lucky for him, a couple of mates from his childcare in Tulip St are attending as well, so he's got a few familiar faces to help him settle in. Regardless, he reported that he had a great time, and the teacher, Ms Anderson, was very friendly.

First day was a little easy - they got let out at 11am. Today (Thursday) was his first full day, and he seems unscathed, but VERY tired. We'll see how he goes tomorrow, and, I suppose, for the next few years...

*sniff* My little boy is growing up...

Crazy kids

There must be something about sitting inside a plastic box that drives our kids crazy. The evidence is all too damning. Dr Lewis was called in to analyse the problem, but was unable to help.

PS. We're currently shacked up in alternate accommodation (our renovations have finally started - yay!), and the internet connection here is rather appalling in terms of speed. There are a lot of photos to post, but it might have to wait a bit before I do a big dump. In the meantime, I'll report on crucial current events only.
